Occupational Science Stream at the CAOT Congress 2009

CSOS History
June 2009: The first Occupational Science stream was hosted at the CAOT National Conference in Ottawa, Ontario.
May 2008: The Fourth Canadian Occupational Science Symposium will be held at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
May 2006: The Third Canadian Occupational Science Symposium will be held at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC.
September 2004: CSOS signed a two year contract with the Journal of Occupational Science (JOS) to provide CSOS members with the option of purchasing a subscription to the JOS through membership in the Society.
May 2004: The Second Canadian Occupational Science Symposium was held in Toronto, Ontario in 2004.
May 2003: The CSOS presented "What is occupational science and why do we need it?" at the CAOT 2003 conference in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
April 2003: The CSOS launched its own website.
January 2003: The CSOS launched its new column "Sense of Doing" in the Canadian occupational therapy practice magazine OTNow.
October 2002: The CSOS launched its own listserv.
May 26, 2002: The CSOS presented "Canadian Perspectives on Occupational Science" and held its second meeting at the CAOT 2002 conference in Saint John, New Brunswick.
May 23-24, 2002: The CSOS hosted the First Canadian Occupational Science Symposium in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
August 8, 2001: The CSOS was incorporated as a not-for-profit society with starting funds from Dalhousie University.
May 24, 2001: The CSOS had its inaugural meeting at the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) 2001 conference in Calgary, Alberta.
